How are you spending New Year's Eve?
Well, it's Christmas and i can't get any sleep... so why not voxing ;)
This year my xmas doesn't go exactly the way i wanted it to. We should have walked the "fakkeloptocht" (parade for peace with a candle in your hand), and after that we should have gone to the "nachtmis" (church at midnight on Christmas eve). BUT we didn't instead we were painting the attic and sleeping. Today we went to Robert's parents for dinner which went well except for the present i got... such a strange thing: toilet paper with sudoku puzzles printed on it. That's not a christmas present, and i already got sudoku for "sinterklaas" while i was happy i finished the last puzzle book finally :( now i have a lot more. Maybe i should rewrap the thing... but who would want it??? Or more important who would i want to give it to??? Hmmmm... i'm thinking i just should whipe my *** with it and flush it down the toilet ;)
My boyfriend didn't got me anything special this year... which i was looking forward too, so i'm a bit disappointed now, and because i'm feeling disappointed i feel like i'm a terrible girlfriend. At my birthday he got me a great gift, some travel speakers from Roxy for my iPod which you can't get in Europe so he ordered it from the USA. Sooooo sweat! I think that's maybe why I was hoping for something nice at xmas too, which is bad, but i just LOVE unwrapping gifts. Don't misunderstand me, i also truly like giving gifts and wrapping them up really nice.
I hope he doesn't read this post, i'm just a bit cranky and should be sleeping anyway. Tomorrow another Christmas day here in the Netherlands, we're going to my mom's and her friend for dinner.
Anyway, Merry Christmas !

Today is the first day I actually send one of the 31 GAMA-GO postcards, with pain in my heart ;) Well, I just love them so much it's hard to pick one and send it, but I think the receiver will love it too. I got these for my birthday last year from my friend Yasmina. So it was time to say goodbye after one year hiding on my bookshelve...
Yesterday Dutch Design Week started this year! It's a design festival all over town (Eindhoven). This is a picture I took of my shadow... I'll put some more pictures online soon!

I just bought these special Adidas sneakers. I was looking for some chic ones to wear to a wedding... these sneakers don't match my clothes I've already bought but I loved them so much, I just had to have them ;)
Last weekend we went to EDIT festival at Strijp-S in Eindhoven (Netherlands). It a music, cultural, art festival (with great food!). Somewhere inside we found this, I don't remember the names of the artists but it has great interaction! You play the drums and the scenery comes alive! Each drum stands for an other animation right in front of you. Playing the drums also gives new beat to the music you hear. Awesome idea!
On may 28 we went to Pinkpop, which is a festival in Landgraaf (Netherlands). We went with our Friends Chris, Wendy, Roel and Iris. It rained a lot that day which sucked but I just loved The Fratellis, Korn and Linkin Park on stage!
We did see on stage: The Fratellis, 30 Seconds To Mars, Wolfmother, Scissor Sisters, Maria Mena, Arctic Monkeys, Korn and Linkin Park.
We didn't see: Five O'Clock Heroes, The Magic Numbers, Macy Gray, Stone Sour, Dave Matthews Band, Evanescence, The Smashing Pumpkins.
But I'm very busy with designing a webpage, flyers and posters for ABlive which is a free music/art festival in Eindhoven (September 1st). A lot of work ahead thanks to myself... And next to that I'm blogging on different pages with different tools like WordPress and MovableType and of course Blogger to find out how custom able they are. One blog is for my favorite recipes (www.buikjevol.nl), one is my blog in Dutch (www.medousa.nl) and I have one at Blogger just for my boyfriend and the rest of the world except for the ones that know me, that one is very private so I do not give the url away ;) It's a blog which I want to fill in 80 days with all my personal stuff so my boyfriend knows everything about me. The 80 days stands for going around the world (wide web) in 80 days. And I also have my own company called medialoog which needs some of my attention sometimes, just like my friends out there...
Maybe it's time to choose which site to dump to get some rest and make 1 very beautiful and updated. But until then I might not be here all the time to update my blog unfortunately...
