Last night I went to the cinema with my lovely boyfriend to see the new Hulk movie with Edward Norton as Bruce. Apparently he's not that incredible because I fell asleep during the big fight near the end! So I don't know what happened to the other guy...
In the end is a little funny part though, we've seen Iron Man a couple of weeks ago (which I found a pretty maintaining movie with cool special effects and some humor) and Tony Stark shows up in the Hulk movie for about one minute. So there are plans for a third movie I suppose where Iron Man and the Hulk team up?
Last weekend we wanted to go to the movie "The inconvenient truth". You could go to the theater for free but apparently more people knew that... sold out. But never the less we staid at Plaza Futura (the theater) for a nice dinner. The food is always good over there. I had some wraps with cheese and spinach, yummm. Gretel who grabbed a bite with us went to Shri Lanka for 4 weeks and is back now. So she could tell us all about her vacation and her new boy friend (who is a dive instructor in Shri Lanka). It sound great! Too bad she didn't bring some photographs... The day after we were invited to go to the movie "300" in Utrecht but we already had a date for last Tuesday. So we took a walk at "Loonse en Drunense duinen". And you'll never guess. Friends who would have gone to Utrecht didn't go and went for a walk at ... "Loonse en Drunense duinen". It's so big so we didn't meet each other in the dunes unfortunately.
By the way, I loved "300". Well not the story which we all know already (it's only about 2300 years old) but the atmosphere is great. You would want to have the cartoon to compare some pictures ;) The same experience as with "Sin City" no wonder...
Yesterday we went to the movie "Borat". It's hilarious!! "High Five!"
He is not only degrading the people who live in Kazachstan but also everyone in the "US and A". He is scared of jew's and hates gypsies, accepted the love of jesus and some guy he met at a (gay)parade ;)
The was one scene I whish I didn't see... there was some wrestling in a hotel room with his chubby director NAKED and it lasted longer than needed (what we could expect of course).
How Borat wants to greet everyone in New York was great, really typical reactions from the yorkers to my opinion. The most of them were just scared. A friend told me that the reactions were not set up so the people in the streets of New York didn't know who he was...
Conclusion: "It is really nice".
